Katie’s extensive knowledge of gels and natural nails shows in the retention and strength of her work. She will always have your nail health in the forefront of her mind. She only invests in products she is confident will enhance your natural nail health. The products Katie uses are always vegan, never tested on animals, and free of harmful ingredients. Katie specializes in hand painted nail art and designs, using gel and only gel.
Dry Manicures
Gel manicuring starts with good prep, which is why Katie provides dry manicures with every manicure service. This involves using a series of non damaging drill bits to gently clean and buff your nail plate, which leaves your cuticles clean, polished, healthy. Using this technique can yield retention for up to 4 weeks! This service requires specialty training, that of which Katie is proficient in.
Gel Extensions
Katie provides soft gel extensions for anyone who wants to add a little length! Using the Aprés Gel-X Soft Gel Extension System, these extensions can last up to 4 weeks with proper care and maintenance! Aprés extensions differ from other enhancements in that they are easily soaked off each maintenance appointment. They are also more flexible with the nail, causing less damage, breakage, and lifting. Katie’s favorite way to use the Gel-X system is as an aid in growing natural nails out until clients are able to transition to a structured gel manicure.

Choosing an art tier can be confusing. You want stripes but is that Customized or Basic? Never fear, here’s your guide to Curlicue’s art tiers! Basic Art
Basic art consists of dots, lines, some transfer foil, a pigment rubbed on top of a color, or maybe a more flattened and non detailed white french tips on every nail. Basic means the most basic of designs. If the design is relatively simple with a minimal color scheme and can be achieved in the time slot booked for 15 minutes or less, it’s a basic design!
Custom Art
Customized art is for art such as a deeper and more detailed french, multi colored french, one color flames, french with dots, smaller and basic designs on every nail, no more than a four color schemed art design! Designs that are more than a simple design, but are not hyper detailed on every nail. This is the most popular art tier!
Extensive Art
Extensive art consists of more detailed art on every nail, themed nails, encapsulated confetti or glitter, multi color flames, detailed designs, and abstract geometric designs. This is for designs that you want to go above the norm, something that is cohesive and ties into an overall composition.
Extreme Art
Extreme art is the highest tier. It consists of crazy art, 3D charms, up to 3 characters, and extremely detailed art designs on every nail. This is my longest service, and is my most expensive service. It is definitely a luxury set and is tailored to every little wish you have!
